In Search of Gold Trek the "Old Yale Trail" in Style

Explore the the Old Yale Trail - the 1880's Gold Rush Highway

Wagon

Load your 2 seat porsche wagon and let's ride.

Turn back the clock to the late 1800,s  Gold Rush and join us for a 3 hr historical drive following The Old Yale Trail from New West (E end of Patullo Bridge 9AM from Brownsville Park,11943 Old Yale Rd, Surrey)  to Yale, BC. We’ll trek the Old Wagon Trail Trail as closely as we can from New Westminster, through Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Rosedale, The Cheam First Nation, Popcum,  Flood, Hope and end up at the Yale Historical Site for lunch. We'll stop for a break at the Whatcom Rd rest area with restrooms which happens to be at the NE end of the former historical Sumas Lake (drained in 1930s for farmland but recently re-appeared in November only to dissipate) Bring a thermos if you need a coffee.

A luncheon is provided by the Yale Historical Society and site admission is included in your Registration Fee.

After lunch - you’re on your own to explore and then travel back.
