Kelowna Late Summer Tour (Sept. 9-11, 2022)
TOUR DESCRIPTION:
It’s now time to register for the PCA-CWR three day Late Summer Tour to Kelowna, British Columbia, which will be led by Wayne Shalagan and Wendy Seniuk. This promises to be a fun filled weekend of scenic roads, optional activities including winery tours, hiking, bicycling, spa time and boating, along with, of course, great wines and fantastic food.
This tour, which is limited to 14 cars, will emphasize social camaraderie and is designed particularly with adult couples in mind.
HOTEL:
Accommodation for Friday and Saturday nights will be at the beautiful boutique Eldorado Hotel on Okanagan Lake in Kelowna. The Hotel is holding a block of 14 rooms for registrants, including the following:
- Heritage Standard Guestrooms - Queen - $319/night (6 available in total)
- Arms Deluxe Guestrooms - King - $389/night (7 available in total)

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE EVENT PRIOR TO BOOKING A ROOM AT THE HOTEL.
WEEKEND OVERVIEW:
Friday (September 9):
- Tour commences in Hope, BC.
- Hope to Kelowna primarily on Highway 1 with some interesting secondary roads.
- Hotel check-in.
- Friday PM welcoming BBQ in Kelowna at the lake-front home of PCA members, Darcy & Karina Biagioni (food and wine included in registration fee).
Saturday (September 10):
- Optional daytime activities include wine tours, hiking, bicycling, Eldorado spa and boating.
- Saturday PM cocktail hour (prior to banquet) (cash bar).
- Saturday PM banquet (three course gourmet meal and wine included in registration fee).
Sunday (September 11):
- Hotel check-out.
- Tour officially ends in Kelowna, BC
- Opportunities to link up with other registrants for a great drive back to the Lower Mainland.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Tour registrants may cancel up to 30 days prior to the event with a full registration refund.
No registration refund for tour registrants cancelling within 30 days of the event unless the PCA-CWR is able to resell the space to other members.
Notwithstanding the above, if the event is cancelled due to Covid 19, forest fires or acts of God, registrants will receive a full refund.
TOUR REGISTRANTS CANCELLING MUST CANCEL THEIR TOUR REGISTRATION PRIOR TO CANCELLING THEIR HOTEL ROOM RESERVATION. THEREFORE, IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL PLEASE CONTACT THE TOUR LEAD, WAYNE SHALAGAN, PRIOR TO CANCELLING SO WE CAN ARRANGE FOR ANOTHER MEMBER TO TAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATION.
