First Ferry Reservation Required

(7:30 am May 26, 2023) from Horseshoe bay to Langdale on the Sunshine coast. You also need to book the first Salish sea crossing of the day

Second Ferry Reservation Required
(8:05 am May 27)  from Powell River to Comox).

Accommodations & Reservations

  We stay the first night at The Beach Garden Resort and Marina in Powell River to reserve for May 26 call 1-604-485-6267 use group # 1132 when booking. Rooms are $144 for two queen beds $154 for king size.
From Comox we take the little travelled road to Gold River for a late lunch at the Pub before returning to Campbell River's Anchor Inn for the night  to reserve for May 27 call 1-250-286-1131. The rooms are priced at $144 for queen or king beds. Tell the desk clerk that you are part of the Porsche tour to get this rate. I am working with the chef to organize a cheese , vegetable and cold seafood appetizer the cost approximately $15 per person to be included in the club's registration.

 

The morning of May 28 will see us travel North via lonely, twisty, paved road to Ports McNeill, Hardy and Alice. We spend the night at the Telegraph Cove resort call 1-250-928-3131. Our group rate starts at

$166.50 but consider treating your self to one of the ocean front cabins housing from 4 to 10 individuals for not much more. Again to make sure you get our groups rate mention you are on the Porsche tour.

 

   Our official tour ends the morning of May 29 at the North end of Vancouver Island. If you are heading directly back to Vancouver it is a direct 4 hour drive to Nanaimo or Duke point for the ferry back home. Some of us may decide to go whale, sea otter or grizzly bear watching, kayaking, fishing, hiking, take a spa day or just plain hang out at the whale museum and shops of Telegraph Cove.
