Notes to all participants
Driver and passenger(s) must attend the mandatory driver's meeting
All attendees must sign the club event waiver available at the start location
This drive will be run in multiple small groups of cars
Enjoy full turn-by-turn directions
Google Maps route will be emailed to registrants
Ensure turn by turn directions can be clearly heard
Earbud, Bluetooth, Android Auto or Apple Car Play all work
Phone must be firmly mounted hands free or operated by the passenger
At each way point you will have to tap the "Continue" button on the map
How to download maps for offline use
This means that the map will work even if you lose cell phone signal
Offline maps do not require a data plan and do not rely on a cellular signal
1 - Launch the Google Maps app on your phone while connected to a wifi network
2 - Sign into your Google Account by tapping on your account icon, top right
3 - Tap "Offline Maps"
4 - Tap on the settings icon and set your preferences ("download over wifi only" for example)
5 - Tap "Select Your Own Map" and select an area that covers your entire driving route
6 - Tap "Download". The map will take a minute or two to download.
7 - You're done downloading!
How to run the route map
1 - Ensure phone LOCATION is turned on (for the GPS to function)
2 - Click on the route map link emailed to you
3 - The map will open and you can preview the route
4 - When you are at the actual start, click on the "Start" button
5 - Follow turn-by-turn directions
6 - Tap "Continue" at each waypoint destination along the route.
