Join us for a Tech Event hosted by member Alex Gutica owner of Stratified Automotive Controls and experienced High Performance Autocross and track Driver. Learn about the advantages you can do to get optimum performance from your Porsche! If you are a High Performance Driver, or Track person, this is an event you do not want to miss!

If it is a cool spring morning, please dress warmly as we will be given a demonstration of the Dyno machine. While this is going on and shortly afterwards, the shop bay doors will be open. 

Some light snacks and refreshments will be provided!

What we do and why it matters:

We are an automotive business that specialized in engine calibration. That means that we optimize how the engine is performing through using the OEM or aftermarket computer(s) that run the engine in the car. There are a number of reasons why someone may be interested in this optimization for their Porsche:

 

• Increase performance for the street or the track. Even on a stock car there are performance and drivability changes that can be performed and we cater those to the individual owner, vehicle, operating conditions and fuel being used.
• Aftermarket engine parts (exhaust, intake, etc) that are installed often require a specific tune to make the most of the upgrade and run them safely.
• As engines age and they are used in a variety of ways they start to deviate from how the factory calibration was setup. We can address this by analyzing how the engine is running using our dynamometer, measuring air fuel ratios, knock performance, adjust and re-optimize. We sometimes find parts that are not running optimally as part of the process and address these as well.
• Hot rodding, dedicated track cars or air-cooled cars converted for EFI from their mechanical injection systems. We tune, optimize and setup all these systems

 

The engine calibration/tune ties into everything the owner experiences when they drive the car. From how the car responds, to how it drives, to how reliably it performs. Our experience with tuning these vehicles allows us to help people enjoy their car and optimize them for their particular use case.
